I was thinking about people who are here -and then not here- in our social spheres, and how when we go looking for them sometimes our hearts break.

This collage includes photographs of friends doing construction work during a trip to Mexico. I was thinking about the noise, the clanging, and the dust and sweat, while making something out of very little.
